2. Place your child in the safety seat so your

childs bottom rests against the back of the safety

seat. See diagram #2 on page 37. Determine which

pair of harness slots are even with or just below

your childs shoulders.

DO NOT use the upper harness slots if they

are above your childs shoulders. They will

not hold a small child securely in a sharp

turn, sudden stop or crash

3. If the harness straps must be adjusted, remove your child from the

safety seat and move the handle to the upright carrying position.
